My new shaving routine with shaveworks
I’ve always toyed with the idea of waxing over shaving but usually get scared off by the pain factor involved. I just find it a little easier (and a lot less painful) to shave and find it a bit relaxing and spa like in the shower. Shaveworks kindly sent over a few of there new products and was excited to put them to the test. I previously had a simple routine; shaving cream, sometimes soap and I’m happy to tell you I’ve ditch that routine and all about a new one. Here are a few shaving tips I continue to live by for luscious smooth skin and my new shaving routine.
Shave at the end of your shower :

Use a shave oil or cream not soap :
I was a repeat offender multiple times using soap instead of shaving cream because it was easy and accessible. I found it dyed out my skin and also make my skins extremely itchy which is the worst. When I started testing the Pearl Polish and loved the concept of shaving with and oil. It reduces irritation and has a long lasting hydration on the skin and I have to agree with this claims.
Shave in short strokes :
I find shaving in short strokes you can control the pressure and speed. This helps with ingrown hair and the unfortunate cuts.
Finish with a lotion : The second product I want to introduce is the The Cool Fix. This gel lotion not only targets ingrown hairs, razor bumps and burns but it smells amazing. The cool fix gel lotion is soothing, cooling and gentle on the skin. I’ve felt and seen a difference within 2 weeks after using this product.
