Perfectly Even and Glowy Skin Makeup For Spring With Lancome
I always loved the look of fresh and glowy skin makeup look from spring. For the past last few months I’ve been guilty of hibernating indoors and taking great care of my skin during the colder months. Now that the sun it starting to stay longer and the weather is getting warmer I enjoy the time I get to play around with makeup a bit more. I received a few new products from Lancome complimentary from influenster to test out and share my thoughts. This is the first time I’ve used Lancome products and I made sure I used this product for a few weeks before sharing my ultimate thoughts on my oily skin type. With that said, here are the steps I take in order to achieve a glowy makeup look.
1. Apply your stick foundation to even out your skin tone. This is the first time I tried a stick foundation. It was smooth, soft and had a buttery texture when applied to the skin. The only concern I have when dealing with my oily skin type is the last power. I usually get oily after 3-4 hours and then foundation starts to break down in the oily areas on my face. The lasting power on foundation lasted for a good 8 hours which was impressive considering it wasn’t made for a specific skin type. If you have oily skin, check out this video I made all about my favorite foundations for oily skin. This one made the top 4.
2. Add a thin layer of concealer to cover dark circles or any darker pigmentation you would like to cover. You only need a small amount as this concealer is highly pigmentation and covers everything with just a few drops.
3. Add bronzer and highlight to cheekbones and high points of your forehead. The darker shade from the bronzer and glow from the illuminator will counter act and give more dimension to you face. This click & glow highlighting stick is perfect for controlling product. One click and it spouts the right amount for each cheekbone. I really love using it in the inner corner of my eyes as well.
4. Top off your lipstick or bare lips with a shimmery lip gloss right in the center of your lips.
