First, let’s talk about the fact that I finally got the guts to cut bangs. I’ve really wanted bangs for a while now. I’ve seen so many people I follow on my Instagram take the dive into bang life, so I figured if I really hate them I can pin them back and pray my hair grows out fast. All turned out well because I’m really loving them. I’m still working on learning how to style them but for now I let them just lay how they want to lay.

Can we talk about this snow? I was getting way too excited for the fact that it hadn’t snowed yet this winter and then all of a sudden it snowed. The cold and snowy weather gave me a reason to pull out a few winter items from my closet that updated my wardrobe. I love simple layering options that will keep me looking chic while staying warm. So, here’s 3 winter outfit staples you’ll need this season:

  1. An Oversized Coat – I’ve been lusting over this coat cardigan from on shein. It’s a sweater but it looks like a structured coat. It’s like 2 for the price of one. The tan color is a basic neutral that works with just about everything. I thought it looks so good draped over a black short sleeve sweater and skinny jeans.
  2. Over The Knee Boots – Who else loves the fact that the over the knee length gives the legs more coverage and warmth for winter and adds a stylish element while trying to keep warm. P.S I also have really high thick socks underneath too.
  3. A structured Handbag – I really love a great large structured handbag during the winter. I usually need more space to stuff my gloves and hat as well as all the other necessities I normally lug around. This Reed Boxer Bag has been my go to handbag.
