The holidays are my favorite time of year. I love everything from the food, meeting up family and the festive decorations all around the city. I have a few holiday parties to attend this year and finding the perfect holiday dress can be a challenge. If you have more then one, I have a few tips to get you through holiday dress shopping.

Go with a color you can wear again. I usually stick with black, just because it’s easier to wear again during any season. And, because it’s the holidays doesn’t mean you have to wear red or green. This year I opted with a simple black sheer Tahari sequin dress and went with my favorite blue velvet boots for a pop of color.

Stick within your style. Make sure you feel comfortable. You don’t want to be that girl adjusting and fitting your dress all night. Find something you can move around and dance the night away.

Accessorize  Find different accessories to change up the look of the dress if you want to where it again. I added a belt to this sequin dress, but adding fun statement earrings and throwing your hair would completely change up the outfit.
