2015 Fashion Rewind
I love to reflect on the pass year with all that I’ve accomplished and plan to achieve for the upcoming year which I’m sure I’ll share with your guys very soon (check out last year here). I would love to hear your thoughts, goals and any of your 2015 accomplishments if you’re interested in sharing. But, for now I wanted to have some fun with fashion. So let’s rewind my favorite looks and trends of 2015!
Black and White has been an ongoing trend that made these casual neutral tones shine. It’s no longer labeled as basic colors but as acceptable colors to style and wear stylishly. I took chances this year and really stepped out of my box by wearing white jeans after labor day, not that I normally stick to rules, but it was definitely something different for me. I pushed the limits with pairing my ankle boots with shorts and a moto jacket during the transition from summer to fall and found it totally reasonable that my arms get colder than my legs.
Fringe was on everything this year, and I still have my eyes on these cute fringe sandals for next spring. Either it was an awesome purchase or a simple DIY, I loved the 70’s vibe that took over fashion this year and I’m sure it’s not over yet.
Lastly, I had to talk about Jumpsuits. Printed, embellished, long or short it doesn’t matter. This one-and-done piece is simple, effortless, and trendy. The jumpsuit/romper combo was my favorite thing to throw on whether I was conversing at a coffee shop or attending a holiday event, it’s a piece to wear all year round. Long Live the Jumpsuits!
I appreciate the love, friendship and continued support through my 2015 blogging journey and I hope to bring more of me through photos and stories. The more and more I open up, the more I see it’s okay to be me.
