Drugstore Basics

The Way To My Hart, Drugstore Basics, Jergens, Lotion, Ulta Healing, Organix, Coconut Water Hydrating Mist, Hair, Burts Bees, Facial Makeup Remover Wipes, Cleaning Toweletts

My usual trip to the drugstore starts with toothpaste and deodorant in mind, and as soon I step through the sliding doors I head right to the beauty aisles. The NEW product displays get me every time and of course, I have to try it. I’ve gotten better over time and now I can narrow down what I like and don’t like. Here are 7 of my favorite beauty products that have been deemed my drugstore basics and usually finds their way into my basket every trip.

Lets talk skin –Β  This lotionΒ  (pictured above) not only smells amazing, it does wonders for my extra dry skin in the winter. I probably have the most sensitive skin out there; that’s probably a lie, but I’m in that category of people. These are the first makeup remover wipes that allow me to use one and get all of my makeup off with my skin feeling clean without the irritation. (FYI- the pink grapefruit scent smells delicious)

Nivea, Soft Mositurizing Creme

Since the weather in NY has been extremely low temperatures, my face has been a lot drier around my eyes and nose. I use this moisturizing creme to re-hydrate smaller areas on my face that need it.

Essie, French Affair, Nail Polish, Light Pink, Manicure

I can’t help but to pick up a nail polish on every trip. I’ve been loving light pinks in fashion as well as in beauty during the winter.

Kiss of Shimmer, Lip Balm, Pink Tinted

A lip balm with a hint of color is perfect mix between moisture care and a bit of glam.

Covergirl, Flamed Out, Mascara, Mascara Experiment, Volume, Fuller Lashes,

With so many new mascaras on theΒ  market, I always pick up a new one every trip. So far, Covergirl has been my go to brand for long length and volume.

P.S- Have you tried the Mascara Experiment?

    • I’m not complaining πŸ™‚ Target always has the best prices!

  • The video is so cute! Also, I feel like we’re the same person. I use all of these items (except the coconut water and wipes – which I must try). But I swear by the lotion. When I moved to the UK, I actually took multiple bottles with me because I was nervous they weren’t going to have Jergens Ultra Healing πŸ™‚

    • Definitely try the wipes. If I could lick my face I would (love the smell of the pink grapefruit).

  • I always wear dark polish in the winter but I am so ready for Spring right now. I might need that Essie shade to get me through the rest of Winter. It’s so pretty!
