Summer is officially over and the Fall weather is quickly approaching. I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday weekend. I had family visit me and we had a blast spending time together.
I had a few unhealthy food choices for the few days they were here, but sometimes you just have to live it up and work it out later.

After catching up on much needed sleep, the morning after my family left, my husband and I decided to hook up our bikes to back of the car and head to the Brooklyn Bridge for a ride. This was our first time but, definitely not our last.
The scenic ride was breathtaking. If you are ever in the area this is something you don’t want to miss! We had our own bikes but Citibike rentals are all around downtown BK for use. I’m sure all you need is a credit card and you can rent a bike all day. I usually hate driving across bridges but during our ride I actually didn’t even think twice about being scared or about how high we were.
After our ride we dropped our bikes back to the car and headed down by the promenade to relax a bit. We then dropped in to one of our favorite Thai restaurants called “Lantern” to have a quick lunch and beers for after riding happy hour. Those beers were great! I would love to go to Thailand… Oh wait we are going next year! Thailand beers in Thailand… I’m excited for that! I’m sure we’ll document our journey and share everyday with you guys.
After dinner, during our walk back to the car, we realized that we were literally walking down Love Lane. We couldn’t have planned a better way to end the night!
Enjoy living life… Thanks for stopping by!
