Inside Hart: Coffee HouseJessica Hart
I’m told as you get older you become more and more like your parents. Most of us don’t realize it right away but, its true the similarities become more apparent as we mature. Eek!
If you know my mother…then you would know she probably would rather inject coffee into her veins rather then drink it. She states “its faster”. I, Jessica Lee, admit…I am like my mother when it comes to loving coffee. (The first step is admitting right?) I’m not here to ramble on about coffee addicts and how addictive caffeine can be but, talk more on the soothing, relaxing part of coffee. Grabbing a coffee on a break to unwind and relax over small talk. Trying new blends and new tastes from different countries coffee beans were harvested. Finding new unique coffee houses make me so excited. So, today’s post I wanted to mention my secret chill spot, “Witches Brew.”
I’ve driven passed this coffee house time after time and was kinda thrown off by the name. I mean…The Witches Brew”? I definitely wasn’t open minded to new things at the time and opted for the next Starbucks down the road. For some reason I decided to try this place out and see why I was so nervous about stopping here. They say don’t judge a book by its cover..right?!
The place was super unique. Mixed seating and flea market finds gives this place a cozy feeling. From the two seater tables to couches for larger crowds, and large bulb Christmas lights to textured patterned walls make up this whole place. It’s so cool, I must say.
So, the place alone is awesome…If the coffee was crappy I still would probably come back just to hang out.
The menu: So far I’ve had the blueberry crumb cake coffee blend and Cinnamon toast coffee. I’m not the biggest fan of flavored coffee. Only because “fast” coffee places add syrups/sugars to flavor the coffee. They serve flavor infused coffee beans. Yum! I can go on and on about the menu but, I only want to talk about what I personally tried. My husband had the 1/2 coffee 1/2 coco on ice which was pretty good too. The best part is…they have every type of milk you can think of. Whole milk, Skim milk, organic milk, Organic skim and Organic soy…I mean the milk alone caters to a large group of coffee drinkers.
I’m always on the hunt for a coffee house to relax. sip , blog ( as I’m doing now) and chat away.
Do you have any cool coffee places to recommend?
